TRANSFORMING ENERGY

Renewable power generation grew faster than overall global energy demand for the first time in decades in 2019. Wood Mackenzie, in an Oct 2023 report estimates that Asia will invest US$3.3 trillion in power generation over the next 10 years, with 49% earmarked for wind and solar, and 12% for energy storage. In the next decade alone, India will need US$350 billion in power generation investment to meet growing power demand. Countries like Nepal and Bangladesh which are connected to the Indian electricity grid, and Sri Lanka which will soon be connected, also present exciting potential to service (Nepal) and consume (Sri Lanka and Bangladesh) in an engagement with the massive Indian market. The cost of renewable energy and storage continues to drop dramatically and many customers across the world can switch now to Solar and Wind at costs that are lower than what they pay for electricity from the grid or from coal today.

Terrasolve is at the forefront of this transformation to renewable energy in underserved markets of Asia.
