Located along the prestigious East-West Highway in a high radiation zone in South-Western Nepal, the country’s largest solar PV generation facilities are being developed by Terrasolve for the supply of clean electricity to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
Development started in CY2020 and despite significant Covid-related disruptions in CY2020 and CY2021, the project is progressing well to financial closure by mid CY2022, and energization in the first half of CY2023. The project will provide inexpensive, reliable power to hundreds of industrial units at nearby load centres and several thousand domestic and commercial customers within the service area.
